New York Jets

Content Management System and Site Re-factoring
In 2006, we worked with the New York Jets and the digital agency AKQA to design, build and deploy the Jets Web presence. Our role was to take over responsibility for the next phases of the recently launched public site (built in Rails), and to design and build a powerful, asset-heavy CMS and publishing system that would drive it.

Details:

We performed all architectural design and development of the CMS (built in Rails), taking into consideration the various legacy and pre-season schedule constraints. We integrated several extant data sources, including the current and previous site schemas and data, as well as the ongoing integration of game statistics during the season. We worked with AKQA's team to create use cases, refine specs and perform QA.
